Dr Dong Zhao is an experienced doctor committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. He graduated from The University of Sydney Medical School with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2017 and holds full general medical registration in both Australia and the United States.
Dr Zhao has developed broad clinical experience across emergency medicine, surgery, internal medicine, neurology, and Neuro ICU care. His Australian experience includes Emergency Medicine Registrar roles at Dandenong Hospital and Casey Hospital, as well as senior surgical positions at Monash Children’s Hospital and Monash Health. He has also worked as a Career Medical Officer across regional hospitals in New South Wales.
Alongside his clinical experience, Dr Zhao has a strong academic and research background, having authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and presented research at major medical conferences. Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, he is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-informed and patient-centred care.
